Welcome to your local community website...

Shepperton's got talent

Posted by Brooklands FM on Aug 5, 08 11:45 AM in Charity/voluntary

Here's your chance to be part of an exciting new local radio service for Shepperton and nearby towns.

Popular local radio station Brooklands FM will soon be launching full-time internet broadcasting with local news, views, interviews, sport, traffic and weather, all built around great popular music old and new.

Programmes will go out from a studio kindly provided by leading local electrical store, Cosmic Electricals.

To provide a top-quality full-time service Brooklands FM needs more top-quality, enthusiastic volunteers who want to do a little more for the local community.

The station needs people to fill many different roles, such as admin, sales, fund-raising, technical, IT, press and PR, who might also like to present programmes - and full training is given. Whatever your talents and skills, Brooklands FM will be glad to hear from you.

The new internet service from Brooklands FM will be part of its preparation to become a full-time Community Radio station on FM when licences for this area are awarded.

There's more about Brooklands FM at www.brooklandsfm.co.uk. To enquire about joining the friendly team at Brooklands FM email info@brooklandsfm.co.uk.

We'd like to hear from you.

Radio Wey is a much better, more professional and more community based radio station with over 40 years experience and lovely people.
