The Halliford branch of the Womens' Institute is looking for new members.

A charity fair day will be held by Shepperton Rotary Club on Saturday, March 28, at the Anchor Hotel, Church Square, Shepperton, between 10am-2pm.
Twenty-eight charities from across Spelthorne will be promoting their work and looking to recruit volunteers while visitors can also get a free hearing test.
The Spelthorne Natural History Society is conducting a litter pick on Thursday, April 16 from Splash Meadow to Nutty Lane, meeting at the far end of Old Charlton Lane at 9am.
Firefighters had to smash a car window to rescue a little girl who had accidentally become trapped in the vehicle on Friday (6) in Studios Road, Shepperton, at about 2.30pm.
Pupils at Halliford School in Shepperton held a mufti day to raise funds for pupils at a special school in the village.
Two to three times a week sixth form students at Halliford visit Manor Mead, a school for kids with severe learning difficulties, to help with structured sporting activities.

A spring fair takes place on Saturday, April 25 at The Bradbury Centre care home, Manygate Lane, Shepperton, between 1pm-3pm and organisers are looking for stall holders.

Free swimming at public pools in Spelthorne will be available to youngsters aged 16 and under and anyone over 60 from April 1.
The initiative is being promoted by the borough authority in partnership with Runnymede Council and Sport and Leisure Management Ltd, which manages the two council-owned leisure centre pools in Spelthorne.
The inaugural Spelthorne Junior Chess Championships will be held on Saturday, March 14 at Staines Prep School in Gresham Road, Staines.
There are three age categories - under 9s, under 11s and under 14s - and entrants must either live in Spelthorne or attend a school in the borough.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday March 10 and forms can be obtained by calling 01932 563497.
