May Fair fun

Saxon Primary School in Briar Road is putting on a May Fair on Saturday May 16 between noon-3pm. Visitors are being urged to come in fancy. Entertainment will include a bouncy castle, a raffle and tombola.

Surrey Police's casualty reduction office Mick Pritchard will be the special guest at the next police panel meeting, held at the Greeno Centre, Glebeland Gardens, on Wednesday May 20, at 7.30pm.

Vile trials

Students got their own back on their Thamesmead School, Shepperton, teachers this week by cooking up unusual food combinations for them to munch in the school's very own 'Bushtucker' trials.

A student from Weybridge will take on a challenge of a lifetime for charity when he climbs Mount Kilimanjaro in July.

Callum Johnson, 19, of The Paddocks, will follow in the footsteps of the Comic Relief team who climbed the 19,300ft mountain in Tanzania, in March.
