More children will have an opportunity to become part of the biggest music recording project in history this weekend when Shepperton Studios hosts further auditions for the first Voice In A Million concert.
Studios-based organisers Classic Media Group want to record 1,000,000 childrens' voices singing in harmony by the end of next year.
Children at St Nicholas Church of England Primary School in Shepperton have launched a project that aims to raise awareness of the destruction of rainforests.
The project, being inspired by the Prince's Rainforest Project for schools, will see year 6 children complete a series of tasks by November to alert the community to the mass destruction of forests around the globe.
Fresh complaints have been raised by residents over the conduct of a Shepperton car boot sale organiser, this time over the erection of "eyesore" barriers outside the site.
A war of words between the two parties has been brewing over the past few months, with residents unhappy David Smith, of Thames Car Boot Sales, is continuing to go ahead with a series of 14 sales at The Ranges, despite their ferocious opposition.
