BOSSES are insisting world famous Shepperton Studios will be staying in the village, despite fears its expansion in the far east signifies it is edging interests away from the area.
A source close to the studios told the Herald the move was the "beginning of the end" of the firm's involvement here, claiming chiefs had also agreed a deal to sell a significant slice of land to a gravel extraction company, which they denied.
