This year's Women's World Day of Prayer will be celebrated in Shepperton with a service on Friday March 6 at St John Fisher Roman Catholic Church in Wood Road at 10.30 am.
The service, which everyone is welcome to attend, has been prepared by the Women of Papua New Guinea and organisers are aiming to have an inspirational speaker who has knowledge of the country to give the main address.
All the christian churches in Shepperton are involved and for further information call Sally Dick on 01932 244578.
